As per reports, a 12-year-old boy and his mother were shot Friday morning at a stoplight along Lindsay Crescent and Dunrobin Avenue in St. Andrew.

The mother and her two sons were travelling in a Mercedes Benz at about 7:30 AM when armed men ambushed the family and started shooting.
Both, mother and son who received gunshot wounds were taken to the hospital where the child died and the mother received treatment for her injuries.
No motive has been established for the shooting.
The matter is being investigated, more information soon.
