14 Year-Old Girl Stabbed to Death by 21-Year-Old Man in Kitson Town
Deniesha Cooper, a 14-year-old Jonathan Grant High School student, died in the Kingston Public hospital after she was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife, she was approached from behind by her ex-boyrfriend who covered her mouth and stabbed her repeatedly.
She succumbed to her injuries on Monday after she was stabbed on Saturday by the accused who ran into the bushes after he had stabbed her. He was followed by people who were nearby.
Her mother Sashane Tulloch was consumed by grief, and denounced the news that the young man was her boyfriend, saying the man was interested in her but she was not having any relationship with him.
She revealed that she was very close to her daughter, they went everywhere together.
Her stepfather Andre Stewart said he tried to keep the girl and the young man apart. He said the accused had started to stalk her so he decided that he had wanted to follow her everywhere she went.
The alleged killer’s father broke down while he spoke, he reported hearing his son say he would kill the girl and kill himself if he didn’t get her, but he didn’t take him seriously.
He took him to a doctor when he was acting strangely, and he was told that he should take him to a counselor. He revealed that there are people who threaten him since the killing took place. He plans to visit the girl’s family at a more appropriate time.
