14yo and 30yo Killed while picking pears in St. Elizabeth – Video Report

Reports from the Jamaica Gleaner is that at least three(3) were harvesting pears in the Kensham community located in St. Elizabeth amidst the rainy weather when lightning struck.

It’s unclear if the men were in the tree or under the tree when the lightning struck. Another man said to be in his 30s managed to escape the fatal strike without serious injuries.

The fatal incident took place on Wednesday September 9th at about 3pm. The two men who lost their life are Ricardo Fisher who is 14 years old and Sheldon Caine who is 30 years old.
