15yo PNP Supporter Dies after Falling and Hitting His Head During Motorcade on Sunday

A teen was involved in a People’s National Party(PNP) motorcade in Portmore, St. Catherine on Sunday, February 18 that turned out to be deadly.

Reports are that the 15-year-old who has been identified as Lamar Grey was jumping from one bus to another during the motorcade when he fell and hit his head.

As per the Jamaica Gleaner, the teen was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The accident reportedly took place around 5:30 in Southboro, Portmore.

Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips who is in charge of the St Catherine South police division confirmed the fatal incident. 

Grey lived in Gregory Park, Portmore.

On Sunday night, notably, leader of the PNP Mark Golding shared scenes from the festivities in Portmore on the day.
