16 Year Old Who Stabbed Cop Caught And Charged

A Police Constable was stabbed several times by a teenager in the parish of Clarendon, and the young man has now been charged for the attack.
According to the Jamaica Star, the officer who was attacked is Constable Nicholas Brown. It is being reported that around 3:15 a.m the constable stopped in the Mineral heights toll plaza, to change a tyre when the youngster attacked him.
The 16-year-old boy was charged with wounding with intent, illegal possession of firearm and assault with intent to rob.
According to Superintendent Christopher Phillips, parents need to be more aware of their children during the pandemic, due to the fright of the last case produced.
He also said that Clarendon will not be the place for an “easy getaway”.
The youngster is scheduled to appear in Court on the 9th of March, to answer the charges.
