Shelby Isaac, 19, was found guilty of two counts of second-degree murder, one count of reckless homicide and one count of criminally negligent homicide. Isaac fell to the ground in shock as the first guilty verdict was read around 7 p.m.
Friday after about three hours of deliberations. Multiple members of Isaac’s family were escorted from the courtroom after they began crying, one shouting that Isaac was innocent. It wasn’t worth a life,” said Tate’s mother, Gloria. Prosecutors had sought first-degree murder convictions in all three deaths, but the jury ended up settling on lesser charges.
