26YO JDF Member Allegedly Commits Suicide in St. James
In recent months, the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) has been at the center of some of the most shocking news, rocking the foundation of the organization.
Reportedly, the body of Anthony Willocks, a JDF officer was discovered in an abandoned building after self-deprecating remarks of self-harm were sent via text message which sparked concern and a police search.
According to Willocks’ partner, the text messages sent contained images that suggest that he was on the verge of hurting himself. After the pictures were circulated to knowledgeable family members who were able to distinguish where the 26-year-old officer was, the police were alerted.
Reports state that at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, Willocks’ was found dead in the Somerton District of St James.
Police are currently investigating the matter as a suspected case of suicide.
