3 Children Hit by Truck In HWT
On the evening of Friday, November 25, 2022, a delivery truck slammed into three children in Half Way Tree, along Eastwood Park Road in St. Andrew.
Reports state that the children, who attend the Half Way Tree Primary School, were on their way from school when they were hit by a truck in the area.
It was initially unknown whether any of the children had died as a result of the crash and the Corporate Communication Unit (a branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force [JCF] that specializes in information) said, “The children were transported straight to hospital, we have no updates on their condition yet.”
Follow-up reports then confirmed that the three Alleged Half Way Tree Primary School students are all alive and recuperating from their injuries.
The cause of the traffic accident is currently unknown.
