3 Jamaicans Qualify for Men’s 110m Hurdles Final at Paris Olympics

On Wednesday, Rasheed Broadbell, Orlando Bennett and Hansle Parchment all qualified for the final race for the Men’s 110m hurdles at the Parish Olympics.

Broadbell and Bennett won their semi-final races while Parchment who is the defending Olympic champion finished third in his race but in a qualifying time when compared to other third-place finishers.

Watch Parchment’s race in heat 1 below, Parchment clocked 13.19s.

The rules for the semi-finals are, the first 2 in each heat (Q) and the next 2 fastest (q) advance to the final.

Watch Broadbell’s race in heat 2 below, Broadbell clocked 13.21s.

Watch Bennett’s race in heat 3 below: Bennett clocked a personal best of 13.09s.

The final is set for Thursday, the 8th of August, 2024.

Parchment will run in lane one, Broadbell in lane five and Bennett in lane seven.
