As reported by the Jamaica Constabulary Force, on Thursday, August 10, multiple guns and ammunitions were seized during operations in Salt Spring, St. James.
As shown in a social media post, three rifles, one pistol, three magazines and 44 cartridges were found.
No reports of anyone being held accountable for the weapons so far.
The caption of the post stated, “#HappeningNow: Several firearms, including three rifles and a handgun, have been seized in Salt Spring, St. James. This comes on the heels of intensified police operations in the division.”
