
Three men allegedly conducting an attempted robbery were shot and killed by the police Thursday morning in St. Thomas.

The incident took place in the community of Poor Man’s Corner. The three alleged thieves were said to have been in the process of breaking into a liquor store when they were fatally wounded.
In footage recorded at the crime scene, the robbers’ planned escape vehicle can be seen parked at the roadside in the community near bushes.
The shooting comes on the heels of a shootout in Freeport, Trinidad, during which the authorities shot and killed six individuals suspected of home invasion.
Today’s shooting also follows the killing of eight residents in Clarendon over the weekend.
