31 People Arrested at illegal Party along Constant Spring Road

According to a report from the St. Andrew North Police Division, a total of thirty-one persons were arrested on April 29th after they were caught at an illegal party that was kept at a location along Constant Spring Road. All arrested individuals were charged for breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act.

The report also stated that an additional seven persons received summonses to appear in court with regards to the breaches.

Between 8PM and 10 PM on the 29th, the police were on patrol carrying out lockdown procedures in the area when they got a call informing them about the illegal event that was being held at a car mart in the division.

The police report also details that about 80 patrons were present at the party upon their arrival, most of whom managed to escape after initially locking the main gate where the police entered. Several of the patrons were intercepted during the ordeal leading to their arrest.
