3YO Girl Shoots Herself With Unguarded Gun in the US – Watch Video
According to reports of an incident that took place in Florida, United States, a three-year-old girl, named Serenity, shot herself in the arm with a gun that was left unattended in the living room of her grandmother’s house.

Video footage was captured of the moment when the incident caused the young girl great distress. In the video, the girl can be seen running back and forth and a family member, Orlando Young, telling her to “stop playing”.
Serenity ran back to the other side of the room, climbing onto a piece of furniture where the gun was left. Young, busy watching something on his laptop did not notice the child reaching for the weapon while looking his way.
The gun went off, hitting the three-year-old in the arm, and Young, startled, started to inspect her as she began to cry out in pain. Other people in the house were drawn into the room by the sound of the gun going off and Young was instructing someone to get a belt to wrap the wound.
Reports state that the gun belonged to Young, thus he was arrested and charged with felony child neglect with great bodily harm, Serenity was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injury via surgery and is now home where she is recuperating.
