4 Dead, Two Injured in Kingston Crash
After the fatal two-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of four Jamaicans and the injury of two Russians on the Palisadoes main road in Kingston, Superintendent Tomilee Chambers, head of Kingston’s Eastern Police Division has issued a warning to the general public.
The Superintendent went on to state “We are now in the festive season. It is best to leave for wherever you are going an hour or half-hour early. That way, you do not have to speed,” Chambers told the Gleaner in an interview.
Police superintendent Tommilee Chambers says a two-vehicle crash on the Palisadoes main road in Kingston caused the deaths of two males and two females. Another two persons were taken to the hospital as a result of the accident.
In her statement, the police superintendent said the incident involved a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV and a Toyota Probox motor car.
Port Royal and Norman Manley International Airport are located along the thoroughfare that connects the capital city to the airport.
