The police have nabbed six males believed to be involved in a spate of robberies on motorcycles in St Andrew.
The Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reported that they are juveniles and they were caught in three incidents in New Kingston, Half-Way-Tree and on Old Hope Road. There is an on-going operation that started on August 4th.
The CCU also reported that two males were already charged with robbery with aggravation, but their names won’t be released until after an identification parade has been organised, as similar cases have been under investigation recently.
The Police Officers who are involved with the investigation of this issue have asked victims of the robberies to corporate with them whenever they are called to identify the suspects. The victims who are mainly from the New Kingston area, are asked to contact the St. Andrew Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-926-2551 or 876-926-8184/5
