7 People Shot At Illegal Event In Westmoreland 2 Dead

Since recent times, the parish of Westmoreland has become a hub for violent crimes and things are not cooling down at all, since last night saw the tragic shooting of 7 people at a party in the community of Springfield.
Out of the 7 that were shot, two are reported by the Jamaica Observer to have been killed while the rest were brought to the hospital to receive treatment.
The event at which the shooting occurred was said to be an illegal event that might have been a bike show or a party. The incident was said to have unfolded at around 8:45 pm last Sunday, and the persons reported to be deceased from the grave occurrence, have been recognized to be promoters of the said gathering.
The identities of the deceased persons have not been released as yet however, investigations are taking place in the incident to find out what might have caused such an attack.
