Buju Banton’s first concert after release will be held in Trinidad

[Sharingbuttons]Sunday night on the Love and Harmony Cruise, a member from Buju Banton marketing team, Jodain Ebanks, announced that on April 22,2019, Buju’s first concert will be held in Trinidad and Tobago after he’s released from prison. Buju performed on the island many of times since his career started. Ebanks had also announced that a concert will be taken place in Jamaica at a later date.

On Irie FM Facebook page Jamaicans were concerned on why his first show wasn’t in Jamaica. “What de ass? Fi real? That’s a big disrespect to Jamaica. The man should perform back a yard first. seen?” Said one of the users.

December 8,Buju is expected to be released from prison in the U.S where he had been serving a sentence from Drug Trafficking in June 2011.
