Jamaican Athletes Training in China

[Sharingbuttons]Jamaican athletes who are currently training in Kunming City, China, already knew that the facility Haigeng National Training Center was situated high above Sea level.

Even on the first day of training some of the Jamaican athletes in the exchange program between Jamaica and China, were experiencing difficulties in breathing because of the thin air at the high altitude.

The exchange program will go on for three years, it was organized by Olivia Babsy Grange the Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports. The athletes are adapting to the changes nicely and their training is going well.

The athletes know it is good for them to train in different places so they will be able to compete wherever they go. The swimmers, Basket Ball and the Volley Ball players are having a good experience in China.
