Chinese Tourists Sent Back after they were Quarantined in Jamaica
The Jamaican Government earlier directed health officials to quarantined 19 Chinese tourists at the Norman Manley International airport after they landed in Kingston in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak, they were sent back 2 days ago on an outgoing flight.
A patient had a generalized weakness, dry throat, anorexia, chills, and headache and was in the Annotto Bay Hospital, but the Ministry of Health officials said they did not meet the case definition for Novel Coronavirus.
The patient was still placed in isolation and will stay there until the symptoms disappear.
A patient who landed in Jamaica on January 30 was also checked out and it was reported that there was no sore throat, history of cough, shortness of breath, diarrhia, muscle pain nor vomiting.
There was no sign of the virus in Jamaica after several checks.
