Laden Goes To Court But No Bail
Laden recently went to St. Elizabeth Resident Magistrate court, In hopes of getting bail for the charges of illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, breaching the disaster risk management activities and for trying to evade a police officer.
He was however denied the opportunity of bail due to incomplete case files and Ballistic reports that were not ready.
The 33-year-old artist whose real name is O’keele Aaron was instead scheduled for a court date on the 26th of November, with hopes that all documents are readily available.
The Deejay was arrested with two other men on the 28th of October, after trying to evade the police and allegedly throwing an item through the sunroof of the vehicle that Laden was driving.
The police later recovered the item, which they reported to be an illegal pistol.
The co-accused which included a 16-year-old boy was granted $500,000 bail on November 3rd and even got an extension.
If convicted, Laden could face up to two years in prison.
