Son Charged after the Body of His Jamaican Dad was Found in His Home
30-year-old, Jamie Walker was charged in Queens Village, New York, USA a week ago for the killing of his father.
Jamie’s 72-year-old father was found in his bathroom, he was badly beaten and stabbed in his neck many times.
Multiple family members were also found unconscious in the house.
Family members of Loandows Walker identified the hospitalised persons as Walker’s 70-year-old wife, Valda; his 29-year-old daughter-in-law and his 31-year-old son.
A relative mentioned that the Jamaican father had migrated 30 years ago from his country and the son, Jamie Walker showed no sign of becoming violent.
The Queens District Attorney, Melinda Katz, in her statement on Walker’s charges, did not mention the suspected attempted poisoning of the three family members, but she spoke about the accuse’s mental state at the time of the alleged murder.
Jamie Walker had wrecked the office where he was being interviewed before he faced the judge at the Queens Criminal Court and he was remanded into custody in connection to the murder of his father.
He was charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third and fourth degree also.
Walker could be facing 25 years to life in prison if he is convicted.
