Bounty Killer Posts his Dancehall Family Tree with 17 Artistes
The dancehall Godfather Bounty Killer, recently reposted a picture on his Instagram account showing a fan crafted Dancehall family tree, which shows how much of a legend Bounty Killer is.
At the top of the tree is the “Grung Gad” himself, which then branches off to show current and past members of the alliance that he helped pave the way for such as Bling Dawg, Elephant Man, Vybz Kartel, Wayne Marshall, Busy Signal and Aidonia.
Even the tree that was presented is a little bit compromised as artistes such as Agent Sasco, Monster Shock, and many more who Bounty gave the platform to rise was not shown on it.
The tree went on to show the offshoots of Vybz Kartel which featured Jahvinci, Tommy Lee, Gaza Slim, Popcaan, Shawn Storm and Black Ryno all of which have been immaculate artistes out of Kartel’s Gaza camp.

There are more notable names from the Gaza such as Doza Medicine, Gaza Indu, Lisa Hyper, and Sheba that was not mentioned on the tree but are still recognized as musical grandchildren, of the Killer.
Alongside the “Worl Boss”, Aidonia also had an offshoot which appeared in the form of Govana, who in recent years got one of the biggest breaks a dancehall artiste, has ever gotten and now is one of the genres top their artistes.
Bounty Killer not only has musical grandchildren but also musical great grandchildren, coming in the form of Dre Island, Quada, and producer and artiste Daneray who are members of Popcaan’s Unruly Camp that are doing well for Dancehall.
It is safe to say the “Grung Gad”, has given the most exposure to Dancehall artistes in its entire history.
