Counterfeit Notes Found in Down Town Kingston
Counterfeit notes were found by the police in the market in Down Town Kingston yesterday, the business people including vendors in that area and in the general Kingston city are being asked to be on the look-out for more of these notes that are a bit different from the correct ones.
These 8 $1000 notes were believed to be counterfeit after they were found, checked and confiscated by the officers when a man was transacting business in down town Kingston.
He was arrested and the police are now conducting further investigations.
Senior Superintendent and the divisional commander Michael Phipps, is asking the general public to be careful and check to see if there are any more of these notes out there.
This arrest will put a dent in the operations of these criminals.
