Plane Crash Hospitalizes Jamaican Man And Kills Son

A Jamaican is now getting medical treatment, after being involved in a plane crash that left his son dead. Reports from the Air Accident Investigations Authority is that the plane took off from the Bimini International airport in the Bahamas on April 16, and was expected to land in Opa Locka, Florida.

After taking off, the Piper Navajo Pa 31 plane, was reported to have crashed at the end of the runway right about 10:10 pm, leaving 59-year-old Andre Wade injured and 20-year-old Kyle Wade who was the pilot dead.

According to the chief investigator of the AAIA, Delvin Major, the pilot was proper licensed for flight and had a proper medical certificate. The AAIA is also investigating the crash to see what the cause might have been.

Wade who is a past student of Wolmers Boys school was immediately airlifted to Nassau following the crash.
