15yo Now In Police Custody after KILLING His 6yo Cousin In Westmoreland

As reported by the Jamaica Star, the fifteen year old who has been on the run since Monday was handed over to the Savanna-la-Mar police accompanied by his lawyer. He is being accused of fatally shooting his six year old cousin after the two had a confrontation in the yard that they live.

The police stated that the 15 year old brought the weapon to the yard where Jadaine and others were, he showed them the gun before the incident transpired.

Further reports state that after shooting his cousin in the back, the suspect ran away from the scene.

The shooting took place at about 2:30 on Monday evening, he was handed over to the police on Tuesday. The teen will be questioned by the police in the presence of his lawyer before further actions are taken.

Jadaine was taken to the hospital by a family member, where he passed away while being treated. Check out the initial report below.
