Man Arrested For Stabbing Death Of Alleged Male Lover in St. Andrew
An Information Technology Specialist, by the name of William Dewar, is the victim of a stabbing incident that took place at Oakland Apartments in Constant Spring, St. Andrew on Monday. Held as a suspect for the crime, is a 28-year-old man who was invited by the deceased to his home at about 2 pm on the said day for intimate affairs.
According to the reports, a dispute developed between the two men at the apartment which led to Dewar getting stabbed by the suspect in the upper body, later dying at the location. The accused man is said to have left the scene immediately after the incident, then later getting the matter reported to the Constant Spring Police.
William Dewar, who was also a Director of Oakland Proprietors Limited and a General manager in sales and logistics according to information connected to his Linkedin account, was also found with other items on the scene such as a used condom, and the suspect’s identification card.
The accused individual is said to be a Customer Service Representative, who was also a Jamaica Defence Force Officer.
At this point, there are no indications of an interrogation of the suspect however, investigations do continue on the case.
In the meantime, People on social media have been sending their best wishes to the family of the deceased, understanding the impact caused by the loss. One person felt the pain in-depth for the family and sent their condolences, by saying “So sad. My condolences to his family… May his soul RIP and all be comforted at this sad time 😢.”
