Rather, the entertainer stated that the decision was made primarily on the grounds of growth. In his talk with the Sun City radio station, the well-respected singjay stated that each year he has a set of goals he tries to achieve, and as such he decided that this year to progress with his development plan, a switch to Sharon’s Burke, Solid Agency was the best choice.

He then added to what he said earlier, by telling his fans to not think that there is anything bad happening between him and Romeich. Just recently the Montego Bay native, released a song entitled “Trust”, and people have been throwing assumptions that the track was directed as a diss towards his former label boss, who also manages Shenseea and Ding Dong.

According to Teejay, the song has to do more with the happenings of the streets, which makes sense because he went ahead and released a track entitled “Deeds”, afterwards which was produced by Romeich. In moving forward with his career, the “Uptop Boss” also affectionately known as “Chippy”, is looking forward to dropping an Album entitled “From Rags to Riches” in August which will see its first song released this month.

As for Teejay, he is now looking towards a European fan base as well as singing for older people, since the majority of Dancehall artistes in the business usually does music for the age group 13-35. The upcoming album according to the seasoned sinjay will feature big industry names such as Skillibeng, Rygin King, Jada Kingdom as well as an international artiste.

The project itself was produced by his label “Top Braff entertainment”, and we used the word “was” because the Album seems to be already completed since Teejay had iconic producer Timbaland listen to the body of work, and gave his feedback.
