Spice and Shaggy Interview on The Breakfast Club – Video
Jamaican dancehall stars, Spice and Shaggy sat down with the cast of the Breakfast Club, US morning show to talk about their collaboration, Jamaican music and more.
During the interview, Spice announced that her much-anticipated album will be released on July 30th of this year. She explained that she named the album “10” because it has been a ten-year wait for the project to be released. The reason for the hold up was because of the toxic relationship between herself and her record label, VP Records however, Shaggy stepped in and ironed things out.
During the interview, Shaggy explains that himself and Sean Paul were contacted at first about VERZUZ however things did not work out and a Beenie and Bounty VERZUZ was done instead. Shaggy also outlines that it was his favourite VERZUZ and after watching it he lost all urge to do one because he doesn’t believe that himself and Sean Paul can match what the dancehall kingpins did.
