Jovenel Moise’s Widow Expresses Pain of Losing her Husband and Thanks Doctors
After the Haitian President was assassinated last week Wednesday and his wife was badly injured in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The recovering First Lady Martine Moise recently thanked the people who were praying for an improvement in her health, but she said the pain of his death will never go away.
Armed gun men had found their way into the Presidents home, and shot him about 12 times and left his wife badly injured after the ordeal, she was airlifted to a hospital in Miami, USA, where she is currently recuperating.
The first lady is having a hard time believing that her husband just died without saying a word to her, she thanked her guardian angels, the doctors, and other people who helped her to pull through during the terrible times.
The USA is considering the request made by Haiti to deploy troops to protect key infrastructure in the country. The condition on the ground is evolving rapidly and the US still keeps close contact with their Haitian partners.
Haitian authorities have received assistance from the department of justice, an advisor was also assigned to the Haitian National Police (HNP).
The capacity of the (HNP) to investigate and address serious crimes is being strengthened.
The USA now has a huge diplomatic presence on the ground in the French speaking Caribbean nation. The Haitian police are also being assisted with the investigation into the killing of the president.
