Dirt to Bentley – Jahvillani Talks About His New Album

New age dancehall artiste Jahvillani produced his very first album “Dirt to Bentley”. In an interview aired over the weekend with Winford Williams of OnstageTV, he detailed that the album was started before the lockdown in the prime of his career. The COVID brought him more time to work on it and it was released last week. 

As an artiste he wanted to do work that will show that he is serious about being an artiste, hence the album. The number of collaborations on the album shows that Jahvillani is trying to push unity and strength in the music business.

Kranium, Skillibeng and the Trinidadian dancehall artiste Prince Swanny have songs on the project as well.

The album is representing the progress he made over the years and he wants to motivate the youth. To show them that they can make something out of nothing. 

He believes that even when you get the break, you need to do the work to keep your career growing. Now that the world is opening he can’t wait to get on a plane and get a chance to perform for his fans abroad.

At the moment he is promoting the album. He also expressed how much he is missing the days when he performed for Jamaicans in Jamaica. He loved the reception of the fans, they energize him to put out more music.
