Hansle Parchment Interview after Winning Gold in the 110m Hurdles – Video
Jamaica’s latest Gold medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics came via hurdler Hansle Parchment who ran 13.04 in the final. In a post-race interview, he was asked about whether or not he was surprised about the win to which he answered stating that, “No it wasn’t a surprise for me I had it in my mind I knew what I wanted I maintained my composure… I had a pretty decent start.”

He went on to express that it’s sad that Fellow Gold Medalist Omar Mcleod did not make it to the games but hopefully, Jamaica can have a 1,2,3 “down the line” in the hurdles in the future. Ronald Levy finished the race in 3rd place with a time of 13.10 to take the bronze medal.
