Police Killed in St. Catherine

As reported by the Jamaica Observer, a policeman was shot and killed in the community of Central Village(In the Big Lane area), St. Catherine. According to sources, Corporal Delwin Jackson was murdered sometime after he left work on Wednesday morning to buy a car.

The Constabulary Communication Unit was contacted about the matter, they confirmed the death of the cop, however, no suspect has been identified. “We don’t have any information to disseminate as yet,” a CCU representative told Observer Online. 

Reports state that the cop was shot sometime after 7 AM this morning, he died at the hospital.

Corporal Delwin Jackson was assigned to the Glengoffe Police Station which is located in the parish.
