Drake Drops “Certified Lover Boy” Album Allegedly Shades Kanye

The long wait is finally over as Canadian rapper Drake, dropped his “Certified Lover Boy” album. Just 9 months ago the Toronto superstar promised these fans that the album would be out, however, there are no upsets where the project is concerned as it is everything they waited for.

“Certified Lover Boy” consists of 21 tracks featuring some of the most talented and wealthiest acts of the music industry such as Lil Wayne, Jay-z, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Ty Dolla $ign, Project Pat, Rick Ross and Kid Cudi.

The project also contains a spoken word done by Nicki Minaj on the ‘6ix God’s track entitled “Papi’s Home”.

“Certified Lover Boy” also features other surprises like R. Kelly being credited as the songwriter and Composer for the track “TSU”, as well as some dark shades thrown allegedly at Kanye West who recently dropped his “Donda” album.

The two have been said to be going at each other for some time in a subliminal feud, said to be allegedly over ‘Yeezy’s’ ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

According to Tmz Kanye’s manager spoke out and said that the rapper will be giving a close ear to Drake’s album, to hear if any shades are thrown, because if that is the case it is war.

‘Champagne Papi’ seems to not have heard those words as he decided to strike in one of the songs off the album entitled “7am. On the Bridle Path”, throwing his shade by saying “Told you I’m aimin’ straight for the head, Now they ‘Amen’ and ‘Please’, I can give a f*** about who designing your sneakers and tees, Had somebody put you on a guilt and you play with my seed.”

He then went on in his lyrical assault by telling his target “Trust me, there’s some s*** you really gotta come and see to believe, That’s why your people, not believers, they all leavin’ ya, You know the fourth level of jealousy is called ‘Media’.”

Many including Tmz have concluded that Drake is indeed shading Kanye on his album. The real war that will take place immediately nonetheless, is the battle of musical accolades to be achieved by the two albums released by the entertainers.
