Bounty Announces “King Of Kingston” Features But No Song With Beenie Man
Even though the release date of “King Of Kingston” is in December, Bounty Killer is still putting in the work to have his upcoming project well received when the time comes.
The deejay yesterday, made a post on his Instagram account concerning the body of work and the legendary acts that are going to be a part of It. Already the “Grung Gad” made it known that the likes of Bling Dawg, Wayne Marshall, Busy Signal and Vybz Kartel would be a part of it but that was just a hint.
Today ‘Killa’, wrote in his Instagram post caption that a bunch of top names such as Shabba Ranks, Chronixx, Romaine Virgo, Aisha Davis, Jr. Gong, Christopher Martin, Nesbeth, Stephen Marley, Dexta Daps, Spragga Benz, Sanchez and much more will be featured on the album.
In the caption Bounty also described “King Of Kingston by calling it” The long-awaited most anticipated dancehall project in the last two decade”, and going on to further describe it as “Dancehall recharge reset and realignment”.
The upcoming album is said to be produced by Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley, and as a precursor to its release, the entertainer signed a major publishing deal with “Creative Titans in partnership with Concord Music Publishing”, to solidify his team going forward.
Many might be wondering as well, why there is no Beenie Man, on the album since it is well known now that, the two entertainers have been on agreeable terms for years.
So far ‘Killa’ has not addressed that matter, but it would be interesting to hear his take. On the other hand, however, this might be a clear statement coming from Bounty as to who is King of the Genre. Then again there is much time o add the “Girls Them Sugar” to the album with the fact that it’s months away.
