Former Prime Minister of St. Vincent Dies At 90
Sir James Mitchell the former Prime Minister of St Vincent and The Grenadines has passed away at the age of 90, after succumbing to an illness he was being treated for.

Just last month he was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados, after being reported Ill with dengue fever and other health factors, at his home located in Bequia, St. Vincent.
The former Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines joined parliament at the early age of 35 and went on in 1975 to create his party by the name of the New Democratic Party (NDP).
As a career, Sir James was professionally an agronomist, and also held the position of Prime Minister from the year 1984 up until October of the year 2000.
