Tiger’s Benefit Concert A Big Success

Veteran Reggae artiste Anthony Malvo recently spoke about the benefit concert that was put together for Dancehall artiste, Tiger to offset his medical expenses and according to the singer, the show was executed well.

Malvo who initially spoke to the Jamaica Observer about the matter said that there were a lot of people in attendance at the event, and even though the concert was free, the persons that turned up were not in hesitation to donate.

The singer stated that Sunday evening had a good vibe, and all the entertainers on the roster for the concert turned up and did well with people even commending the organisers of the event for what they saw and experienced.

The concert was kept at the Premier Restaurant in Atlanta Georgia and featured entertainers such as Pressure Busspipe, Dajah, Little Pinchers, Ras Frazier and Delly Ranx and although reported by Malvo to be entirely successful, he did not reveal the sum that was made from the event.

Tiger’s real name is Norman Jackson, and he was well known in his time of prominence for his unique vocal style that placed him a notch above the regular deejay. In 1987, the artiste struck big prominence with his song entitled “Wanga Gut”, however, was slowed down when he got involved in a car accident that nearly took his life.

The goal of the entertainer’s family led out by his daughter Rhia Jackson, also an artiste was an amount of USD 8000 to help with the medical expenses that have accrued on them due to Tiger getting a minor stroke that requires him to constantly visit the hospital.

The entertainer’s recent stroke is his second in recent times and has affected the left side of his body and his mobility. Anthony Malvo is known for his collaboration with Tiger on the track entitled ” Come back to me”.
