Bobby Shmurda Endorses “Protocol”, Says Free Sparta
American rapper Bobby Shmurda knows the protocol for these streets as the 27-year-old artiste made a TikTok video dancing to the infectious single ‘Protocol’ by Skeng and Tommy Lee Sparta.
Ackquille Pollard, known professionally as Bobby Shmurda, is the second celebrity rapper to endorse the dancehall track, with Nicki Minaj being the first nearly 2 weeks ago when she commented on the music video which has over 24 million views since it was released last November on YouTube, saying ‘Protocol’ is the “baddest” song to be released in years.
In Shmurda’s video, the ‘Hot Nigga’ artiste is singing and dancing just outside the window of his moving car while ‘Protocol’ blasts in the background.
The TikTok video was shared on Instagram by Tommy Lee Sparta, who tagged the rapper and added part of his first line in the song as the caption while tagging the rapper. The incarcerated dancehall singer also wrote the same line to the comments section saying, “@itsbobbyshmurda pull up them affi run lef that.”
Shmurda replied to the comment by sending six fire emojis and then added a comment of his own stating the singer should be freed.
“#Free @tommyleesparta,” Shmurda wrote.
