WATCH: Fastest Jamaican This Season, Oblique Seville Breaks Jubilee Series Record In Jamaica (9.86s)
21-year-old, former Calabar High School student Oblique Seville ran the fastest 100m race we’ve ever seen from him on Saturday at the Jubilee Series in Kingston, Jamaica, he crossed the finish line in 9.86s.
This makes Seville the 6th fastest Jamaican of all time and the 21st fastest man of all time over the distance.
He clocked the second fastest time in the world this year. The time is also Oblique Seville’s personal best.
“He got out to a blistering start and ran an impressive race… He looks like he has more in his tank,” stated one of the commentators.
