Kingston Technical High School Female Student Charged for Fatal Stabbing of Classmate Michion Campbell

In the case of Kingston Technical High school student, Michion Campbell who was stabbed to death by a classmate during a physical dispute on Thursday, September 29, the 17-year-old female student who was taken into police custody has been charged with murder.
After a question and answer sitting with the student at the South Camp Remand and Correctional Centre earlier this afternoon where she was being detained, the charges were laid.
Attorney Kymberli Whittaker will be undertaking the task of representing the teenager in court. Whittaker relayed to The Star, “She is understandably devastated at the turn of events,”
The court date that will decide the fate of the teen has been set for Friday, October 7, 2022, at 10: AM.
However, as mentioned by Whittaker, the case is not cut and dry, thus when the proceedings begin on Friday, “there are some legal issues that will come up, then we’ll have an understanding of the statements that are before the courts.”
