Car Crash Kills 2 JDF Officers, 2 More Injured – See Pictures and Video

According to reports, a car transporting four JDF members crashed into a wall resulting in the death of two of the occupants in the vehicle and leaving the other two in critical condition.

At around 4 AM on Friday, November 11, the officers were allegedly on their way from an event when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed along a corner close to the neigbourhood of Waterfalls located in Old Hope Road, St. Andrew.

The driver of the car and one of the passengers died, and of the two injured, one is reportedly in critical condition.

Courtesy of the Jamaica Observer, a witness of the incident detailed what they saw leading up to the fatal crash. According to the individual, the car was speeding, apparently coming from the direction of UWI (University of the West Indies), and unable to control the car after coming to the turn in the road, the motorcar collided with the wall across the roadway.

“Dem a say how dah vehicle deh a drive so hard, cah look like dem a speed from long time…so when dem reach di corner now look like dem couldn’t take the corner, so di car just come straight cross innah di wall,” he said.
