Man Accused of Fatally Chopping His Partner’s Ex in St. Ann

A man whose name is currently unknown is on the run from the authorities after he allegedly chopped another man to death in Discovery Bay, St Ann.

According to police sources, on Friday, November 18 at about 6:00 in the evening a man was engaged in an altercation with another who is said to be the ex-lover of his current partner. The victim visited the house of his ex with whom he also has a child with, reportedly to see the child when the confrontation developed.

The victim, unnamed, was at the Discovery Bay location when the accused showed up at the premises. It is unknown at this time what started the argument, but a dispute started between the current partner of the woman and her ex-lover and reports state that the ex was allegedly chopped repeatedly.

Law enforcement was dispatched to the area after a call was made and the victim was taken to the nearest hospital but was thereafter pronounced dead.

Police are now on the lookout for the accused who fled the scene after the fact and is on the run.
