The accused is a 16-year-old member of Mob Tie Records which is owned and established by CEO J Prince Jr. He was also rumoured to have died and also cited by ‘Black Twitter” as a likely suspect when it came to the death of the Last Memory artiste.

He is currently remanded at the Harris County jail in Houston and although the death of Takeoff was not the reason for his arrest, it is reported that the authorities questioned him in relation to the incident.

On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston Texas at a bowling alley in Houston. He was the youngest member of the Migos group (the other two being Offset and Quavo), at 28 years old.

Recently, Daily Loud tweeted a document seemingly related to the arrest. The document was dated November 22 and was signed by Mick Sellergren as the arrester (assistant district attorney), as well as signed and sworn by Tangela Franklin (AFFIANT). The first setting date (which is when a case is set on the court’s docket upon the return of an indictment) was printed as November 28, 2022.

Reportedly, Lil Cam was released on bail in April 2022 after being charged with a prior felony. He is now in violation of the terms of his bail and could face extra charges if he is found to be connected to Takeoff’s murder.
