Cardi B Removes “Ass Shots” and Advises Fans to do Research Before Doing Cosmetic Surgery
The American rapper Cardi B advised her fans to do in-depth research before having plastic surgery while she shared more about her journey with cosmetic modifications. The Bodak Yellow artiste has been open about having plastic surgery on more than one occasion, and in her most recent discussion, she spoke about removing most of her “ass shots.”
According to People, Cardi explained that she had surgery and removed 95% of her “ass shots” (biopolymers) in August. Cardi described the procedure as a “crazy process” and went on to advise her slim fans between the ages of 19-21 that they should not do “ass shots” thinking, “OMG I don’t have enough fat to put in my ass.”
Her reason for providing more insight was because people thought that she had done her body immediately after giving birth to her 15-month-old son, Wave. “When it comes to BBLs, if y’all want advice from me, before you get your BBL done you have to make sure your blood levels are all right,” the 30-year-old Grammy Winner added. “If a doctor says your blood levels are too low or you have diabetes or whatever, don’t do it.”
Cardi previously spoke about cosmetic surgery boosting her confidence. One of her most recent surgeries was rhinoplasty, which is a surgery that changes the shape of the nose. She had spoken about being “skinny” when she was younger and feeling “ugly and underdeveloped” because of boys body-shaming her. She even opened up about illegal silicone shots for $800 in a basement in 2014.
She noted that when she grew up in The Bronx, New York, as a female, it was all about “being thick and having an ass,” so the boys would quickly point out the flaws of a skinny girl. When she was older, she worked as a dancer at a strip club and used the money she made to get breast implants. “When I was 18 and became a dancer, I had enough money to afford to buy boobs, so every insecurity that I felt about my breasts was gone,” Cardi stated.
She later did her butt by the time she was 20 years old. The Up singer underwent a second breast operation and later did liposuction in 2019, which was after giving birth to her daughter Kulture, who is now four years old.
