Valiant Explains Why He Makes Controversial Songs – Watch Interview
One of the newest sensations on the dancehall scene is deejay\singer Valiant, who is projected to have a very successful 2023 by many players in the entertainment industry. The Siance singer recently did an interview on the Let’s Be Honest podcast hosted by Jaii, in which the St Mary artiste discusses why he makes the type of music he makes.
According to the fast-rising artiste, he makes a lot of positive and inspiring songs, but somehow, these songs do not receive the same attention as some of the other controversial songs he made that are gaining crazy numbers on online streaming platforms.
The artiste explains the dilemma he faces between him creating a controversial song and an uplifting song by stating, “You haffi go put yourself in a many different people shoe, for instance…me have a song a come out a seh, man a live like rasta no beef no pasta, you ago listen that, but if me come a seh me did ago through the worst, you nah go listen to that uzimi, so right now me just a do what the people dem waa hear, so if dem want hear di gal dem fi skin out me ah sing it.”
Additionally, Valiant outlines his versatility when it comes to creating music and the content of his songs, pointing to his Lover Boy, Scholar, and Hall of Fame tracks, which he says are positive and uplifting, but people tend not to seem to be gravitating toward those tracks in comparison to his more controversial songs.

In summary, Valiant says he will continue to make the music he thinks can keep him relevant in the eyes of the public as he attempts to solidify his place in the highly competitive dancehall industry.
