2 JCF Officers Charged for Rape of 16yo in St. James

According to reports, two male Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) police officers have been slapped with a rape charge following an incident that took place almost 10 years ago.

The suspects Sergeant Bruce Walker and Constable Rohan Mullings were said to be responding to an assignment when the sixteen-year-old victim was reportedly sexually assaulted.

The matter reportedly took place on May 28, 2013, however, the matter was reported to the police two years later on April 07, 2015.

Both officers were assigned to the St. James Division and were charged on Tuesday. The charge to each cop was handed down following a ruling by the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The victim was taken to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) where she filed a report with regards to being sexually assaulted by the cops.

The men are expected to appear in the St. James Parish Court to answer to their charge, however, no date has been set as yet.
