Top 5 Dancehall Songs in Jamaica Right Now – August 2023
Valiant’s Mad Out continues to entertain as it grows in popularity and once again takes the top spot on YouTube’s trending music for Jamaica. Taking the remaining spots on this Top 5 Trending/Hottest Dancehall Songs list are Skeng, Kraff, Malie Donn, and Jquan.
Kicking off the top 5 list is Mandeville-based artiste Jquan. Jquan’s single Still a Fight takes the #5 spot following its release on July 29 on YouTube. Released via the labels DJ Mac Productions and Steel Chest, Still a Fight has acquired over 630,000 views and 25,000 likes.
Jquan’s most recent single, Credits, featuring Najeeriii, is currently #12 on the trending list following its release on August 10.
Malie Donn’s Dungeon takes the #4 spot, having acquired over 329,000 views and 20,000 likes since its release on August 10. Dungeon was produced by The Eclipse Entertainment, Crook Entertainment, and Falcon Records, with visuals by Lagikz Visualz.
Claiming the #3 spot on this trending list is Kraff’s Rum Behavior. Rum Behavior was produced by Budu Dem, Zimi Records, and Now Or Never and mixed and mastered by Black Spyda.
The single’s beach-themed visuals were filmed by Aka Ruppie and Shane Creative, garnering over 795,000 views and 31,000 likes since being released. Kraff’s previous release, Lucid, is currently #7 on YouTube’s trending list.
Dancehall artiste Skeng takes the #2 spot with his latest release, Shalalala. The single was produced by Zimi Records and Now Or Never and mixed by Frank White.
Shalalala‘s ring games-inspired music video was shot by Aka Ruppie and Shane Creative and has garnered 1.1 million views since its release as well as 50,000 likes.
As Valiant’s fame continues to grow in dancehall, so too has his capability to churn out hits. The artiste’s now-viral single Mad Out has once again claimed the #1 spot on YouTube’s top trending songs, amassing 3.7 million views and 86,000 likes since its release on July 24.
