Jahshii, Producer Ajal and Frassman Brilliant Drop “Protection” Music Video

Dancehall star Jahshii and Frassman Brilliant dropped the video for their collaboration Protection. The song and video were both produced by Ajal Music Group. The song expresses the artistes’ plea for protection from the creator in a world full of dangers.

The four-minute video portrays a story of once friends inflicting harm on each other.

Jahshii and Frassman Brilliant appear in numerous scenes together, vibing as they deliver powerful lyrics and soothing melodies. The video also features a scene shot in a church that complements the message of the music as the entertainers seek help from “Jah”.

“Me still tan up like giant me a Jah Jah client me ring dem nuh guard up nah go get nuh powers from science, nuff Psalms anointed by prayers, him lef me inna di den with di lions but my god nuh bias,” Frassman Brilliant sings in his verse.

Jahshii, who has recently been the centre of some violent controversy, which saw some of his crew members being shot, fittingly seeks help from “jah” to keep him out of harm’s way.

“Use sleep mark death from them thief me lighter, is like friend waa me kill dem and me nevin like that, a one thing me a beg you seh fi keep me life god,” Jahshii chanted.

Frassman Brilliant and Jahshii collaborated on the chorus, each contributing their respective parts. The lyrics are as follows: “I have been down this road before, and Jah protect me, Jah protect me. Wicked came to eat my flesh, and Jah protect me, Jah protect me.”
