Miller, a 29-year-old AC technician from Kingston 16, was arrested earlier this month and charged alongside his co-defendants, Richard Brown, Roland Balfour, and the alleged mastermind behind the murders, Leoda Bradshaw. On Thursday, Brown, a 31-year-old graphic designer, entered a guilty plea to the Home Circuit Court for two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping.

Miller has pleaded guilty to two counts of misprision of felony, two counts of conspiracy to kidnap, and two counts of accessory before the fact of murder. Miller and Brown are scheduled to be sentenced on November 15.

According to the authorities, Patterson and 10-month-old Sarayah, the daughter of Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell, were kidnapped from their home on September 9 and then shot and killed. Bradshaw, who also shares a child with Paulwell, and her cousin, Balfour, made their appearance in court prior to Miller and Brown’s guilty plea and were remanded until December.
