A six-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted and raped while at daycare in St. Ann by a 15-year-old boy.

According to reports, the incident took place on January 27, with the Ocho Rios police launching an investigation into the alleged assault after a report was made to the authorities.
It is alleged the 15-year-old “barged” in on the 6-year-old while she was using the bathroom at the daycare and then sexually assaulted and raped her.
The teen was turned over to the authorities by relatives following the police’s probe into the incident.
He was subsequently charged with rape and grievous sexual assault.

His court date has not yet been set but is in the process of being finalised.
