“It is obvious that something is not right with Elaine”: Thompson Herah Makes Statement after Last-Place Finish
Shortly after Elaine Thompson-Herah finished last place in her 100m season opener on Saturday, she took to social media to make a bold and motivational statement. The finish was a shock for most, except Oral Tracey who made some interesting comments after watching the race.
Thompson Herah and Sha’Carri Richardson headlined the Diamond League Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Sha’Carri Richardson won the 100m race in an impressive time of 10.83sec, on the other hand, the Jamaican clocked a sub-par 11.30 seconds.
After the disappointing finish, the fastest woman alive wrote the following on Instagram, “Journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step……2024 first step 3x🥇🥇#grateful#perseverance#faith#believe.”
“It’s not just the time, it’s how she look and how she run,” outlines Oral Tracey. “It is obvious that something is not right with Elaine, it is as clear as day,” he also declared as he reminded his viewers that Elaine has been having fitness issues since the start of the season.
In the video shared to his YouTube channel, Tracey also stated, “11:30 is way off,” before detailing that she has time to get better ahead of the national trials. Elaine is expected to compete next at the 2024 Grenada Invitational on June 6.
